" BREAD OF THE WEEK "

This a a very basic recipe for white bread and probably similar to the one that comes with most bread machines. It's a great place to start. The ingredients are readily available.

BASIC WHITE BREAD

1 - 1/2 POUND LOAF

1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons water
5/8 cup milk
3 cups bread flour
1 - 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 - 1/2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons active yeast

1 POUND LOAF

1/2 cup water
3/8 cup milk
2 cups bread flour
1 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoon sugar
1 - 1/2 teaspoons active yeast
Place all ingredients in bread pan and press start.

After the baking cycle ends, remove bread from pan, place on cake rack and allow to cool 1 hour before slicing

CRUST: Regular
MENU SELECTION: Bake
