SAUTEED BANANAS OVER ICE CREAM

SAUTEED BANANAS over ICE CREAM on Foodista

1/2 stick ( 1/4 cup ) butter
4 medium bananas, under ripe, cut diagonally into 1/2 - inch slices
1/4 cup dark rum
3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 pint vanilla bean ice cream

In large skillet over medium-high heat melt butter. Add bananas and cook for 1 minute. Stir in rum, brown sugar and cinnamon. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.

Scoop ice cream into 4 dessert dishes. Spoon bananas mixture over ice cream.

Makes 4 serving.

  1. OOOhhhh! I LOVE banana with ice cream. Now I want a midnight snack. Cinnamon is a nice twist to it. YUMYUMMY!
